The Eric Berry Classic honors Creekside alumnus Eric Berry for his many accomplishments during his time at The Swamp. Berry was a scholar-athlete and high school All-American who later starred at the University of Tennessee before being drafted by the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs. He has consistently given back to the communities of Kansas City, Knoxville, and his hometown Fairburn, Georgia through the Eric Berry Foundation. The Foundation won the $20,000 Nationwide Charity Challenge in support of Berry’s nomination for the 2015 NFL Man of the Year award. After beating Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, he returned to the field cancer-free and earned a 4th Pro Bowl selection, while being named the 2015 NFL Comeback Player of the Year. We are proud to have Eric Berry as a part of the Creekside High School legacy. Once a Seminole and now a Chief, he is still an invaluable member of The Tribe!
